San Andres or Tayrona.....help!!

Hi all,

 

I have a couple of days in between cities (Cartagena and Medellin) and am trying to decide what would be best.

 

My mind was pretty much made up on going to San Andres after doing a little google search and getting lost in images of San Andres for days (it looks like the most beautiful place in the world!!).

 

However, I've now been told by a couple of people I know, that Tayrona is an amazing experience and trumps San Andres in beauty (apparently Tayrona is an excellent spot for self reflection and inspiration?).

 

Obviously the colours of San Andres really had me mesmorized. And hearing it's loaded with pretty girls doesn't hurt either. The fact you can rent a cart around the island sounds really cool too.

 

I'm a solo traveller and although I have no issue being solo, I would prefer to be able to meet other people (my favourite part of travelling alone).

 

Anyone out there that can give some advice??

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
