We are two couples, aged 25-30, that will be traveling to Columbia over the upcoming Christmas Holidays. We are looking for a mix of culture, food, adventure, partying & beach, and have come up with the following itinerary based on the useful insights gathered in the helpful posts on this form. We would love your opinions on the following itinerary:
- Day 1 - December 24 - Bogota
- Day 2 - December 25 - Bogota
- Day 3 - December 26 - Bogota - late flight to Santa Marta (Overnight in Santa Marta)
- Day 4 - December 27 - Santa Marta
- Day 5 - December 28 - Tayrona, Calabozo entrance (Overnight in Tayrona)
- Day 6 - December 29 - Santa Marta
- Day 7 - December 30 - Cartagena
- Where to spend Christmas / New Years? It seems that Bogota & Cartagena are good locations to be in to celebrate Christmas & New Years if we want to experience some culture/party. Is this really the case? Or should we not bother to adjust our itinerary to be in specific cities for those days?
- We are seeing mixed reviews on the Santa Marta/Tayrona area. We are open to going to San Andres / Providencia instead, and then head back to Cartagena in time for New Years. Thoughts?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References:
Christmas is a festival of joy and happiness. I live far from my hometown, and I work in assignment writing service review . Whenever I get time I visit my hometown. Every year I will not miss a chance to meet my family and go out for a dinner. I would like to travel with people every time and enjoy different places with neighbors. Family trips always loaded with fun and happiness it also decreases the stress levels.
