Way to configure the SBCGlobal mail setting?

Now it’s time to see how to configure the SBCGlobal email setting.

The SBCGlobal mail setting requires to be done in two parts. 

The first part is known as SMTP setting., and the 2nd part is known as IMAP or the POP setting sometimes. 

In the SMTP setting, the following information is required to be put on. 

  • Port Number should be 465 if you are using the SSL.
  • Port Number should be 587 if you are not using the SSL.
  • Server Address must be written as “smtp.mail.att.net”
  • Now, you should write AT&T mail address in the username.
  • You must remember that the password should be Your SBCGlobal.net password.
  • Authentication is must to be applied here. 
  • Also, it must be remembered that Sending Limits is 500 Emails a day or 100 connections a day.

Now, In the IMAP setting, the following information is required to be put on.

  • Port Number should be 993 if you are using the SSL.
  • Port Number should be 995 if you are not using the SSL.
  • Server Address must be written as “imap.mail.att.net”
  • Now, you should write AT&T mail address in the username.
  • You must remember that the password should be Your SBCGlobal.net password.
  • Authentication is must to be applied here. 
  • There is no limitation on “how many emails you can get in a day”.
