To reset your Brother printer after a paper jam, follow these steps:

Turn Off the Printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer. Make sure that the printer is completely powered off before proceeding.

Open the Paper Tray: Open the paper tray and remove any jammed paper carefully. Ensure that there are no torn pieces of paper left inside the printer.

Open Printer Cover: Open the printer cover to check for any additional jammed paper. If you find any, gently remove it.

Close the Printer Cover and Paper Tray: Close the printer cover securely and make sure the paper tray is properly inserted.

Power On the Printer: Press the power button to turn on the printer again.

Clear the Error Message: If your printer displays any error message related to the paper jam, clear the message by following the instructions on the printer's display or control panel.

Test Print: After the printer is reset, try printing a test page to ensure that the paper jam issue has been resolved.

Greetings,
Peter
