How to fix HP printer cartridge error after refill

HP does not allow users to install third-party cartridges in the printer also preventing them from using refilled ink cartridges. In case a user tries to install an ink cartridge that has not been manufactured by HP, the printer may stop working. The error may also occur if an HP printer user doesn't refill the cartridge with the ink recommended by HP. If you are a user who is experiencing HP printer cartridge error after refill you should immediately take the conclusion that the problem has happened to your printer because of incompatible cartridge installation or wrong ink use.

If an ink cartridge is replaced with an incompatible cartridge the printer may show an error and in some cases may stop performing printing tasks. So when you notice the cartridge error in your HP printer after refilling the ink or after replacing the ink cartridge, it is only because of the incompatible ink use or non-HP cartridge. So it is recommended to always install the ink cartridge that has been manufactured by HP.

An HP printer does not usually show any lag if the machine is used in the right manner.

But to keep the course of your printing error-free, you are advised to be a wise user. The idea of saving some bucks, and buying and installing incompatible stuff into your HP printer is just an example of an unwise printer user.

If you don't want the course of your printing derailed because of the HP printer cartridge error after refill, just make sure that you install the cartridge only manufactured by HP and use the only ink that is recommended by the manufacture. If you go by the ideal ways while using your HP printer, you will hardly notice any problem in the machine – it's just that easy.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix HP printer cartridge error after refill:

Check the ink levels in your printer. If the ink levels are low or empty, replace the cartridges.
Make sure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to install the cartridges.
Clean the ink cartridge contacts. Use a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to clean the contacts on the cartridges.
Reset the printer. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for 30 seconds. Then, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Update the printer driver. Go to the HP website and download the latest driver for your printer.

Greetings,
Peter
