Reset the waste ink counter

Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet.
Open the printer's ink cartridge access door.
Locate the waste ink pad sensor. It is a small, black plastic tab that is usually located near the bottom of the printer.
Press and hold the sensor for about 5 seconds.
Close the ink cartridge access door.
Plug the printer back into the power outlet and turn it on.
The printer should now print a message that says "Waste Ink Counter Reset." You can then try printing again.
