You must know the Wi-Fi settings of your Linksys router before you connect your computer or device to the network. You must have the correct Wi-Fi name and password. For linksys troubleshooting, if your default Wi-Fi name is Linksys, it is recommended that you personalize it for security purposes. Also, you can check if the computer is getting a valid IP address from the router.

The quickest and easiest workaround for most issues concerning Linksys routers is to powercycle the device. To do this, power OFF the router, unplug the power cord and wait for 10 seconds before plugging it back in.
