Fat should definitely not remain on the pans, if this happens, contact the dishwashers repair and they will help you. This is a reliable service that I and many of my colleagues use. If grease remains on the dishes, then it is quite possible that the dishwasher does not heat the water well, and it is not able to wash it with cold water.
