Hotmail introduced an Android app on 2nd August 2011, whereas the iPhone app was introduced on 30th August 2011. Later on, in 2013, Hotmail became a part of Outlook.com so a new app for both Android and iOS was introduced as Microsoft Outlook. To create an account of Hotmail on a mobile device, follow these instructions:
Visit Google Play Store on an Android phone or Apple App Store on an iPhone and search for Hotmail (now known as Microsoft Outlook).
Tap on Install.
Open the app and then tap on “Create New Account”.
Enter your desired Email and then select the email extension from the drop-down menu, tap on next.
Create a strong password, tap Next again.
Fill out your First & Last name, again tap on Next.
Select your region from the drop-down menu and then enter your Date of Birth, tap on Next,
Solve the puzzle, to prove that you’re not a robot and then tap on Submit.
Tap on Continue to on the Next window, and then you’ll be redirected to your Inbox.
Congratulations, you’ve created your new Hotmail/Outlook account successfully, now you can use it to send and receive emails, schedule your tasks, set-up a meeting and much more.
